a dream for a future.

Time flies so fast. Four years ago, I was very eager to enter High School. I am very excited for a new environment, happy to meet new friends, ready for a new beginning, ready to become independent, and to do more and be more.

When I was a child, I dreamt of becoming a doctor. I want it because I want to help sick young individuals. But as I walk through my life, I then realized what I really want. My dream is to become a journalist someday. I want to be sent to different places to cover, disseminate, and gather information for a news and story. I want to become an instrument for truth. I will give everyone the hottest and freshest news.

A month from now, I will be graduating. My high school days will come to an end. I know it’s sad but a new beginning, a new chapter awaits. I will pursue my dream at the premiere and scenic University of the Philippines-Los Baños. I wish to take up BA Communication Arts.

Years from now, I want to have a job at a TV station, magazine and newspapers. Someday, I wish to become successful in my chosen career. As a fruit of my hard works and labor, I wish to have my own house, car, and properties. But most of all material things are nothing compared to my family's wealth. I am doing my best for them. I want to treat them nothing but the best.
My dreams are not only for myself but also for my family, a dream that I would like to secure for their future.

My dream doesn’t end here. I have a lot of dreams. I wish to fullfill all of these.

I will keep on dreaming, do believing and let to survive. I know that I can do more, yet be more

CHANGE: for you & me.

I believe in the saying be the change of you want to be by Mahatma Gandhi. Change is the only thing permanent in this world. Thus change must start within ourselves.

As Rizal said, the youth is the hope of our fatherland. We are the change makers. We are the voice of our nation. I am one of the youth.I, being ordinary doesn't mean to do the simple things in life. I can be extraordinary, I can do more yet do more.

To myself , I am changing in my ways. From being a child and reach my maturity. From being Dependent to Independent. I am studying well. I may not be one of the best in school, but I know I did my best. I know I would use my knowledge for my future, for you and all of us.

As a student leader, I lead my fellow students in school. I'm trying to be a role model in my ways. Simple things like wearing my ID, behaving well during schools programs, attending my duties as an officer can make a big change. It can make a difference. I am initiating my fellow students to speak our National Language. I am motivating them for a change.

In the future, I will be eligible to vote. I will not lose this chance. I will go and register immediately. My one vote is a big vote. Through this, I could be heard . My voice could be heard. I can make a change. I can make a difference and I care for it. I can start a change. the change for me, for you and for all of us, and for our nation.

A NEW ONE

A new year, a new start…a new chapter, a new beginning. A new decade had just entered. The year 2010- year of the tiger.

As 2010 enters our lives, third grading period and our remaining days of stay in school is coming to an end. There were a lot of memories, moments, experiences we had and shared. One day is not enough to reminisce all of these. And we will not forget any through the years.

This past third grading, we still talked about HTML tags. This time we talked about anchor tags, MS FrontPage, and even make a web design. Our web design contains the technology and livelihood aspect of the City of Vigan. Through this, we could promote our local products like Vigan Longaniza, Empanada, Pottery, Bagnet, and Abel Iloco not just nationally but also worldwide.

We just celebrated lately the Longaniza festival where different activities were conducted like the street dancing and showdown, talentadong bigueño, gay night, and parades. I was a part of the Festival. We paraded twice. It was last Jan 21, and Jan 25. Bigueños are truly proud of there local products. These are some reasons tourist keep visiting Vigan.

We only have two more months left. Time Flies so fast. Let’s make the most of our stay here at our ALMA MATER. Let’s enjoy our every moment with everyone in school.

CHRISTMAS ESSENCE

As I am writing this one, there were only few days left before Christmas. The Christmas countdown is about to end. The cold breeze in the morning, the different and colorful Christmas decorations we see around are signs that Christmas is fast approaching. When I was Young, Christmas for me is giving gifts, going to places, eating and vacation. But as I am getting older, The true meaning of Christmas is getting clear to me. Christmas day is the day of loving, sharing, and forgiveness.

The true essence of Christmas is how we feel the season, not how extravagant the celebration is. During this season, it is important that family members stay together. Gathered in one table and eat the noche buena, exchange gifts and presents, hear the mass and share stories all over again.

Christmas is just once a year, but we can make it everyday if we like. We don't need delicious foods everyday, we don't need to wear expensive clothes everyday but we could share and give our love to everyone. Lets love each other. Lets forgive and ask for forgiveness. Most of all, Lets offer ourselves to God and let him guide us.

NOVEMBER-iiiiFIC!

November is a special month for me. It is not just an ordinary month. It is indeed a busy month for everyone. November is the month for our dead love ones, our hero Andres Bonifacio, our former President Elpidio Quirino, the Filipino Values Month Celebration and lastly, this wouldn't be so special without my birthday. I was born on this month.
The Filipino Values Month Celebration that was conducted by the Values Education Club had its theme: Pagpapatibay sa Pagkataong Pilipino tungo sa Hamon ng Buhay. Our country has been struck by strong typhoons. Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng was a tragic. They left us with bad experiences such as flood, no current, no food, no drink, no shelter but most of all they stole lives. When thinking about this, we're sorry. We feel pity to the victims. Inspite of what had happened, Filipinos were still strong. They didn't lose hope and start a new life. Filipinos are known for this traits.
There were many things that had happened this month.
I celebrated my birthday with my family and close relatives. There was no big celebration and party but I had a bonding time with my sister and Mama when we went shopping.
A week after my birthday was my first recollection. It was my first time to attend a recollection. I enjoyed it where I was able to meet new friends, shre and interact. Also I ecame closer to God.
This November, I went to Baguio to take the SLU Cee. after that, I was able to explore the City Of Pines again.

See? NOVEMBER is special to me and that's why is NOVEMBER-iiiiific!

What's on my mind.

Time flies so fast. Second Grading was over and another grading is approaching. As I look back what had happened, there were many things that comes to mu mind like the NLTSGO, Youth rally, the week of tragedy and INTRAMURAL meet. Also I cant forget the things I've learned.

Yes. Second grading, we were talking about HTML. I've heard this one before. I'm quite familiar with this one because I've seen lot of HTML tags in my Friendster account. I have to learn more regarding this .

We had our activities, discussions about this. Our activity were time consuming. Each character should be encoded correctly. In every activity, different kinds of tags were used. I enjoyed doing these activities.

But we didn't end here. Instead we didn't get far. We were behind. There were many interruptions, many activities and most of the time we didn't have classes.

It's hard for us, IV MAXWELL. The others had gone farther then us.

Here I am again, making promises that seemed to be broken. Ill be studying hard. Do my works on time. And I'm HOPING.

HERO...SUPERHUMAN

She's a woman of the class, our second mother, a friend, a mentor, a hero...... a teacher.

A woman of the class
- Without her, there would be no doctors, lawyers, nurses, engineers, architects today. She's a teacher. she taught me my ABC, taught me to count, read and write. She talks morning till afternoon, feeding us with lessons.

She's our second mother-They say, the school is our second home. This is where we spent the day, from 8-5. And the teacher is our second mother. She takes care of us. She worries for us. She see to it that we are comfortable, she see to it that we have a clean surroundings.

She's also a friend
-Just like a friend, our teacher could also our bestfriend. She could keep a secret, give some advice and share experiences with us. Our teachers could be there for us, in times of happiness, laughter, sadness, excitements and achievements.

She's a mentor-
She's my source of inspiration. She always tells us to study hard, never give up. She prepares us for the future. She's my coach. She trains us for a battle of our life.

Lastly, She's a HERO. She's a SUPERHUMAN. She does all of these, she divides her time. She do a lot of sacrifices, she saves us. she fights for us. Saying thank you and I love you would not be enough to our teachers. It would take A million words for the hardships, sacrifices they have done to us. But in return, a smile in their face says it all. Someday, their hardships and sacrifices they all gave to us would bear a good future.
