"what i had learned."

It seems like yesterday when I dream to be in High school and now that dream comes true. I am on the last year of my high school life and that days were about to end in just months. That’s why I blame why time flies so fast. Now, I was to face a beginning, and a new chapter of my life.

We are to meet new subjects including new and old lessons. As the technology arises, we are to deal ICT IV with the subject of Internet. My learnings were added with new ones because the subject was not new to me. We were required to have our blogs and to explore more on the world of internet. The lessons introduced to us were History of Internet, and its uses, transmission control protocol, internet protocol and blog.

In every lesson, we meet some challenges. Some were easy and some were hard. The no. one problem we faced in our lesson was the schedule. Our scheduled class on ICT IV was full of interruptions where our teacher cannot meet us in most of the time. It’s so hard for us to adjust really with the lessons. There are times when we were left behind.

Another problem was the connection of Internet at our computer room. It took minutes to load a page and with that kind of connection, we took us the activity unfinished in just an hour, left undone and well have to do it the next day.

With all of the problems we meet, it makes us strive more on our studies. We surpass these problems and make us stand still.

Moving on…ill make the rest of the HS days, more efficient. To strive more, study harder and make my HS life meaningful for the rest of my life.

"Speak to Me, Pls."

Speaking is a way of communicating with one another. We can express our thoughts, feelings and other expressions clearly and understandable when we talk or speak. Speaking is also a macro skill we must enhance. We speak with different languages. Most of the countries and nations have their own language. We may not know and understand these languages but we have one language which is common to all. The English language is our universal language. It is almost known by everyone. It is globally use in different events, books, and even in the internet.

Just as the other countries and nations, the Philippines have its own language. It is the Filipino language. It is unique and one of a kind. It was from our ancestors and was still used up to our generation. It was used by Filipinos nationwide.

These two languages are important to us. We communicate and understand each other with these languages. But, these languages should be use with kindness. When communicating, being kind is a sign of respect. It shows courtesy to the one whom you are talking. In Filipinos, words such as “po” and “opo” were use for respect to elder people. Filipinos even kiss their hands and bless. Verbally, we can show respect to the elders by addressing them. As time goes, this practice and tradition of the Filipinos is slowly diminishing.

It gets us alarmed. In this generation, the practice of speaking English and Filipino of the youth is unkind. We must move now and be a model. We must speak English and Filipino with kindness. We Must and We can.
